The podcast room
The main space is built for recording conversation. Two armchairs and a leather sofa sit against a wood slat acoustic wall, lit with warm LED cove lighting that reads well on camera and does not make anyone squint. Broadcast microphones are already positioned on boom arms, and the multi-camera setup is framed before you get here.
It works for solo episodes, two-person interviews and small panels. There is a monitor on a rolling stand so you can watch the feed as you record, and enough floor space for a crew to move around without appearing in the shot.
The music room
A separate room for singers, musicians, vocalists and artists. Guitars on the wall, keys, studio monitors and a condenser microphone with a pop filter set up for vocal takes, in a space treated with acoustic panels.
It suits tracking vocals, writing sessions, and voice-over work that needs to be clean and quiet.

Questions about the room
How many people can come?
The room is built for conversation rather than crowds, so it is set up for up to six people. Attendance is limited to the number of guests stated in your booking, and additional guests, crew or observers need approval in advance.
How big is the studio, and is it accessible?
Around 500 square feet, with street level access, wheelchair access, restrooms on site and natural light.
Do you have a green screen?
Yes. A collapsible green or blue chroma key backdrop is available as a $20 add-on.
Can I record music or voice-over?
Yes. There is a separate treated room with guitars, keys, studio monitors and a condenser microphone with a pop filter, set up for vocal takes, writing sessions and voice-over work.
Can I operate the studio equipment myself?
The professional cameras, lighting and audio are operated by Spark Studio personnel or an authorised technician. It keeps the gear working and the session on schedule. Your own equipment is your own to run.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking on site. No meters, no garage, no hunting for a spot before your session. Street level access from the car park to the studio, so loading gear in is straightforward.
